Windgrove studios
Windgrove Studios is nestled in a small grove of old growth,
windswept silver peppermint eucalypt trees that are themselves surrounded
by maturing coastal heath, restored native grassland and a large, cliff
edged grove of she-oaks.
Dedicated to promoting a direct relationship between the arts and the
environment, Windgrove studios not only produces environmental sculpture,
but also hosts public art exhibitions and Australian Open Garden Scheme
weekends.
To date, over 10,000 visitors have walked the two kilometre path that
winds through the property's various ecosystems, experiencing first hand
the awesome power of this landscape alongside Peter's complimentary artwork.
For the future, plans are being drawn up for the integration of environmentally
sensitive facilities into the landscape. This will provide the opportunity
for Windgrove studios to offer residential workshops where the participant
will gain a deeper appreciation of this stunning environment while also
being involved in courses that provide for a fusion of art, ecology and
theology.
